Interest is the emotion that causes attention to focus on an object or an event or a process. In contemporary psychology of interest it is used as a general concept which encompasses other more specific emotion terms, such as curiosity and to a certain degree surprise (see surprise), in a similar way the general term anger encompasses other terms for the emotion such as rage, considered to be intense anger.
Interest is a known as an ability to persuade someone to participate or engage in an activity. It is a feeling that accompanies or causes special attention to be paid to a person, object, or group. It may also elicit concern about something.
We all have different interests and we express them in different ways. This is one of the events that make the world go round. Enjoy the diversity.
