Coaching Life Progress
If we don't offer our thoughts and actions to the unknown, our senses will dull. It is in this spirit that we evaluate our daily efforts and check for self-progress. The milestones that are the most difficult to achieve are generally the most rewarding. We fight to make our best case toward achievement, then often forget to reward ourselves for the effort expended. For those that travel, take a few risks every now and then to experience something that you overlook because you just don't have the time. Read a roadside historical marker, visit a museum, find a lost cousin. These are the events that truly make life rewarding in the end.
You will be so much richer and happier, a new invigorated person, and a better person for it. All the risk and hardship will seem very small when compared to the knowledge and wisdom you will gain in the process of slowing down. Take time to smell a few roses when you travel. Not only will you benefit, but so will your company and your customers.
